Development Phase
Our U12s are the youngest competitive age group at Hartland. This squad provides the perfect introduction to academy football, combining a fun and supportive environment with high-quality coaching. Players learn the game in a way that builds confidence, teamwork, and a love for football that will carry them through the age groups.
Coaching & Support
The U12s are managed by James supported by Sam, both of whom are passionate about helping players take their first steps into the Junior Premier League. Their approach balances technical training with encouragement, ensuring every girl feels valued and supported.
Training & Matches
- Training twice weekly, focusing on skill development, small-sided games, and building strong habits.
- Matches on Saturdays in the Junior Premier League and local friendlies.
- Home fixtures take place on the Hampshire/Surrey borders.
Player Development
At this stage, players are encouraged to be brave, take risks on the ball, and learn from every game. The emphasis is on enjoyment, technical skills, and developing the resilience to play competitively while still having fun.
